@harrisonmaths I agree giving insights into how marks can be picked up (eg follow through marks) can be useful to the students who feel that they cannot find the final answer so wouldn’t even try, and giving ideas / prompts of finding a way to simply start!
@taylorda01 Hahaha no, most certainly not! But perhaps if you remove the original Edexcel question, or would a comment of not to be shared - or for personal use only. What people do with them is up to them!!
@MartinSLewis Is there any chance you can give some advice about the Child Benefit Tax Charge? I'm a teacher and will cross the £50000 Gross Pay bracket but can't work out if Teacher Pension contributions mean I will not have to pay the Tax Charge
At the airport, and I’m absolutely disgusted- they’ve made everyone LINE UP to get on the plane AND we had to sit in specific seats AND we weren’t allowed to speak during safety instructions AND we couldn’t STAND UP until they SAID SO and
@MissKendalMaths Know your curriculum, vision and values. Be aware of strengths and areas of development (including plans to strengthen the areas needed).
Be calm (at least on the outside) your department need a leader!! Don’t be afraid to ask for support from others….it is a team game.
I played for a club where a manager went mad after games if we felt a decision had gone against us. You feel like it’s us against the world . I get it. Everyone hates us, the refs are out to stitch us up and theirs bias v us. However I can never remember the club writing letters undermining the system and the whole refereeing community.
When I look back now I don’t think as players we always covered ourselves in glory with refs and also at a big club we all feel entitled and you have to leave and retire to be able to see that.
Arsenal’s letter and even the Liverpool statement a few weeks ago ( they had a genuine bad one v them ) are wrong. Do it privately . If I was Howard Webb I would stop apologising to them and get on with it. Managers and players make far more mistakes than refs!
