An example :-
Two Indians are serving in the Army, both feel pride in serving the Nation. One is selected from the old recruitment scheme the other is selected from the new Agnipath Scheme.
Now see the difference:-
The old one gets paid more than the new one while they perform the same task with the same risk.
This old one is a trained Soldier and the new one is a novice with 6 months of training.
Both of them laid their lives in the same operation.
Now think as a responsible citizen..
Can you discriminate in awarding the benefits to their NOK? If yes then why?
Is there any difference in their sacrifice/martyrdom or Balidaan?
Both were sons of our Nation. Can you discriminate between both mothers? If your answer is that the new one opted for the new scheme!! When I came to US, 24 years ago, equal number of Indian and Chinese students would come here.

Update: The Uttar Pradesh Police has possibly decided that there is sufficient evidence under Section 170** Code of Criminal Procedure to transfer the case to the Magistrate Court - to consider trial and prosecution.

I gave my statement regarding my factual posts criticizing Homeopathy and Ayush in general.

I was asked to sign the document for them to proceed with further action.

Looks like this is going to be one big battle ahead. Even though I am not sure how sufficient evidence could be present based on a struck down section which related to restrictions on online speech was declared unconstitutional by the honorable Supreme Court, on grounds of violating the freedom of speech guaranteed under Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution of India. The rest of the IT Act 66 sections do not deal with defamation or what I am accused of.

Truly amazed at how the law could be twisted in anyway to prosecute and harass doctor-science communicators here.

**Section 170 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) of 1973 deals with cases that need to be sent to a magistrate when there is sufficient evidence. The section states that if the officer in charge of a police station believes there is enough evidence or reasonable grounds, they should send the accused to a magistrate.
