I remember working in a government hospital as Medicine SR after my MD. I dreaded night duties. Every hour, rowdies or drunken people would come in and create a ruckus. On top of that, there was constant interference from local politicians, unavailability of life-saving drugs, and corruption at every corner. One of my surgery colleagues was manhandled right in front of my eyes,(there were no CCTV those days). It was like zee horror show being played on daily basis
I’m sure every doctor has faced violence in the workplace at some point in their career. Sadly, it keeps repeating day after day.
