At this point, the @NSCDCrops officers involved in Niger State should have been arrested and subjected to a thorough criminal investigation over the deaths of these innocent miners. Where the evidence establishes deliberate or premeditated killings, those responsible must be charged for murder accordingly. There must be no cover-up and no impunity for the unlawful taking of innocent lives.

Today, I officially resumed at the Ondo State Competition and Consumer Protection Agency (ODCCPA) following my appointment as the Executive Chairman of the Agency by the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
I was warmly received by members of staff led by the Administrative Secretary, Hajia Kudirat Ola. I also had a comprehensive briefing on the operations of the Agency, its mandate, ongoing activities and some of the challenges affecting its effectiveness.

It was an important first engagement, and I was particularly encouraged by the commitment of the staff and their willingness to work with the new leadership to reposition the Agency for greater impact.

I assured them that we are entering a new era, one defined by professionalism, accountability, fairness and a stronger commitment to protecting the interests of consumers and promoting healthy competition.

Under the leadership of my Principal, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the rights, safety and well-being of the people remain a priority. As an Agency, we will work to ensure that consumers in Ondo State are not only heard but adequately protected, while businesses are given a fair and transparent environment to operate.

There is a lot of work to be done, but I am confident that with the support of the staff, stakeholders and the people of Ondo State, we can build an Agency that consumers can trust and businesses can respect.

The work begins today.

My reason for voting for Omoyele Sowore @sowore in 2027 is simple: I want a President who will fundamentally transform Nigeria, not another politician who will manage the same broken system and call it progress.

I believe Sowore has the courage and vision to take Nigeria in a completely different direction. His leadership would focus on transforming every major sector of the country, from education, healthcare and agriculture to manufacturing, technology, transportation, housing and the economy. Nigeria has the human and natural resources to become one of the greatest countries in the world, but we need leadership that will turn those resources into opportunities for the people.

One area I strongly believe must change is electricity. Nigeria cannot continue to live in darkness while sitting on enormous renewable-energy potential. I want to see a serious transition to solar energy, hydroelectric power, wind energy, biogas and other renewable sources, with modern power infrastructure that can provide reliable electricity to homes, businesses, farms and industries. Ending Nigeria’s energy crisis would unlock enormous economic opportunities and help businesses produce more, employ more people and become more competitive.

I also want a government that will attack poverty at its root, not merely share temporary palliatives. We need productive industries, functional agriculture, access to affordable energy, quality education, skills development, technology, entrepreneurship and millions of sustainable jobs. When people have opportunities to earn a decent living, poverty begins to lose its grip.

On insecurity, Nigeria needs to move beyond the traditional approach of reacting after lives and properties have already been lost. I believe Sowore should harness Artificial Intelligence as a major part of Nigeria’s national security architecture, using AI for intelligence analysis, early-warning systems, border surveillance, threat detection, crime mapping and the rapid coordination of security responses. I even believe AI should serve as a core strategic adviser to the Commander-in-Chief and defence establishment, because machines can process enormous volumes of information continuously and identify patterns that humans may miss. But the final responsibility and authority must remain with accountable human institutions.

For me, this is bigger than politics. It is about building a Nigeria where electricity is reliable, industries are productive, farmers can prosper, young people can find meaningful opportunities, insecurity is confronted intelligently and government actually works for the people.

That is why I will be voting for Omoyele Sowore in 2027.

I am not looking for another recycled politician. I am looking for a different direction, a different vision and the courage to rebuild Nigeria from the foundation.

Dear Nigerians, I need you to help me get @MTNNG attention as every means we have tried has failed. Help me repost as many times as possible.

Six days ago, my household purchased MTN fibre X because the remote job my sister got requested for a fibre network and specifically running at 300mbps. This was a criteria for getting the job which was to start on Monday, 7th of September, 2026.

MTN sent an installer to my house and after installation, the guy confirmed it was working and running on 50mbps, we immediately corrected him that we paid for the premium plan, a hundred thousand naira, which is 300mbps, while the basic plan (50mbps) is 30 thousand naira.

He simply said, that's a back end problem, my job here is done.

Since Last week Saturday till now MTN has refused to do anything about it. We have called their care line over 300 times and have sent series of emails. We have sent several messages here on X per their request, yet they leave us hanging the moment we send the details they need with no tangible solution or response.

One week has gone out of a one month plan my sister has been unable to use. I beg MTN To either refund us, or fix this situation and the data must start counting from when it was fixed.

MTN at this point send your installer to come and take the router away, the same way you sent them to install it. @MTNNG
