ಸಮಾಜ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಅಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಸತಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸಂಘ (KREIS) ವತಿಯಿಂದ 2026–27ನೇ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಲಿಗೆ ಇಂಗ್ಲೀಷ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ 6ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಾತಿ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಮೊರಾರ್ಜಿ ದೇಸಾಯಿ, ಕಿತ್ತೂರು ರಾಣಿ ಚೆನ್ನಮ್ಮ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಪ್ರವೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ವಿಧಾನ: ಅಧಿಕೃತ ವೆಬ್‌ಸೈಟ್‌ನಿಂದ ಘೋಷಣಾ ಪತ್ರ ಡೌನ್‌ಲೋಡ್ ಮಾಡಿ, ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗತ್ಯ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ (SATS ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ, ಫೋಟೋ, ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಪತ್ರಗಳು) ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ 25-01-2026 ರೊಳಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ.

ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪತ್ರ (Hall Ticket): ದಿನಾಂಕ 18-02-2026 ರಿಂದ ವೆಬ್‌ಸೈಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಶಾಲೆಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆ: ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆದ್ಯತೆಯ ಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ (Priority List) ತಪ್ಪದೇ ನಮೂದಿಸಿ. ಮೆರಿಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೀಟು ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿದೆ.

Last night I was driving from Panjim to Ashvem and saw a traffic police officer checking cars. He had a body cam recording the entire interaction. I asked him about it, and he said CM @DrPramodPSawant has made a rule in Goa that only officers with body cams can issue challans. This isn’t just stopping corruption, it’s bringing real transparency into the system. I genuinely feel all states should follow this model.

ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಸುದ್ದಿ, ಶ್ರಮಿಕರ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾಧನೆ! ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ 247 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮೊದಲ ಹತ್ತು ರ‌್ಯಾಂಕ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು 2025 ರ SSLC ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ (SC), ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪಂಗಡ (ST), ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ (OBC) ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ವಿಷಯ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಸತಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸಂಘದ (KREIS) ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 2 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉತ್ತಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸಮಾಜ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ (@SWDGoK) ಈ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಕ್ಷತೆಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಅಭಿನಂದನಾರ್ಹ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಉಚಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾನತೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಒಂದು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಬಲವಾದ ಅಡಿಪಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

@DeccanHerald ಮತ್ತು @GauthamMachaiah ಅವರಂತಹ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗಣ್ಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ವಾಗತಾರ್ಹ. ಅವರ ಈ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹವು ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.

KREIS ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಒಂದು ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ಕಥೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನಂತ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು!

The Karnataka Govt Residential Schools (English Medium), known as KREIS (Karnataka Residential Education Institutions Society) under the aegis of Social Welfare Dept (@SWDGoK ), have performed exceedingly well in their SSLC exams this year.

There are 821 schools with more than 2 lakh children. They serve the children from socially and economically backward (OBC SC ST) categories. There is NO FEES to be paid. Everything from toothbrush to shoes are provided for. Classes are from 6th to 12th grade. No other state in the country has this residential school model in such high numbers, except Telangana.

This year's performance is the best since their inception 26 years ago. The performance metric is measured by comparing it with other Govt schools run by the Dept of School Education. This year KREIS schools have 91% pass percentage compared to other Govt schools which stand at 63%, thus a remarkable 28% difference!

This was possible primarily due to the direction, encouragement and support from the Hon'ble @CMofKarnataka and Social Welfare Minister @CMahadevappa who encouraged and motivated the Principals/Teachers/Non-teaching staff to go the extra mile to bring the best out of our students.

Although, KREIS missed the first rank the second rank and 3rd rank in the state are held by the KREIS students. Three students scored the second rank (624 marks out of 625) and 12 students scored third rank (623 marks out of 625)! It is commendable that 34% of our students have achieved Distinction. The average marks scored have increased from 72% in the last year to 78% this year. Let us not forget that these children are from socially and economically backward communities. That makes this success special!

The ED of KREIS, Shri. Kantharaju, IAS, and his academic team led by Shri. Nagesh deserve all credit and appreciation for this excellent performance! In the coming year, KREIS could very well achieve 100% results with a motivated team and additional support from @Rotary (Shri Ramanan and team).
