@InchOrInfinity I think both major cities in Scotland have suffered significant decline in the past decade, though city centre Glasgow & esp Sauchiehall St have are particularly bad. Yes been some major fires but to be this far down the road & nothing done - criminal. And I mean literally.
@Footinit I was a wee bit disappointed they made a sequel. The original still stands one of the best comedies of its type & feel it didn't really need a sequel. Best in Show is another belter - happy to leave them as standalone works! Besides, I worry they'll run out of drummers......
@BlackLabelAdvsr@Voodoo_79 Both sports are a cover for suppressed homosexuality. Grown men ramming into each other, often from behind. Just come out & embrace it 🌈
@pieandbov No manager or system changes will deliver anything until they sort out the desire & hunger to win/achieve in the players. People are scratching their heads how Cape Verde, Ecuador etc got through. I'll tell you how-coz they wanted more than the next man.
@DavidRaeGG@32watto We didn't even make Morocco (or Brazil really) work hard for the win!!! Even Haiti made them work for it. I don't think Morocco will ever get an easier 3 points.
@offtheballbbc Down to one thing - desire. I think qualifying for the comp took all the desire & motivation out of them. I watched Cape Verde & Ecuador - those guys wanted it. We bottled it.
@DavidRaeGG@32watto Definitely. Virtually everyone in that Squad should take a look at themselves. The passion & desire was evident in its absence. You want to know how Cape Verde & Ecuador qualified? Coz they wanted it & dug deep to get it when they needed it. Scotland couldn't get up for it.
@KincorthDandies@sweirz Disagree. Strongly. Cape Verde qualified from their group coz they wanted it. And went for it..as a team. Most of Scotland team looked like they had turned up a kick about on Sunday afternoon. If you can't get up for a WC, then don't bother turning up at all. Didn't fancy it.
@jgrfc1872@Dan__Burke__@brisworld ☝️this sums up ! Look at the effort Ecuador, Cape Verde, Haiti etc put into their games when they needed points. Now look at the Morocco game - we didn't even make them work for the points!!! To me it's about the desire & appetite the players have, esp the big time players. Sad.
@GGS80 The stadium is a metaphor for America as a whole. They are amazing at designing & innovation, imagination & creativity by the bucket load - best in the world. However don't ask them to run it. Virtually every time I've been to the States I'm amazed anything gets done.
@SandyofSuffolk Hydrology, macro economics, energy production & delivery - there is really no end to your areas of expertise. Truly a leading polymath of our time 🙏
@rebekkarnold You know what I loved about him? Always played with a smile on his face, like he loved playing for the sake of it. I'm sure the money helped but part of me wants to believe he would have done it for free, like mucking around with mates in the park !
@Alex_Niven I often think about this - songs so peculiar that seem to exist in space occupied by nothing else. Certain artists seem to do this effortlessly & often - Kate Bush is a prime example. How would you describe Kate Bush without actually playing the music? Peter Gabriel also.
