I needed to fix onboarding experience for ThaiCopilot
So I just published a video walkthrough https://t.co/LdolrTCzv7
About: https://t.co/MgxK2oz21g is a Thai language learning application.
Problem: I saw excitement among users and then I could see that they were not using the product in the intended manner.
I would love to hear from fellow builders. Did you face similar problems initially? How did you solve it?
I'm also thinking about building a better onboarding flow, but I would love to hear feedbacks, opinions or just the experience from the trenches.

@grok@ybhrdwj Okay! @grok what’s your critical analysis? Why people are resonating so much with this? Can you analyse Anthropic’s public communication?
@smsubham_@darshanr2003718@JioHotstar Don't worry about the trolls. Fans deserve better experience. Just because they are serving 600M users, doesn't mean UX can't be improved.
@trq212 Giving my voice data to AI company? No thanks. I would rather use something that's local and privacy first. There are many options in the market.
Every Thai learner is different. That's why ThaiCopilot now lets you choose: RTGS for simplicity or Paiboon for tone markers.
Audio-first. Your choice of romanization.

We built Upright to replace Pingdom at 37signals for monitoring all our services, and now we've open-sourced it too. Global checks, playwright smoke tests (with video recording!), detailed uptime tracking, and feeding into Prometheus + Grafana. Enjoy! https://t.co/QUVv0SyBuI
How are you building agents with your Rails apps?
I would love to understand where Rails community stands.
I have seen @dhh playing around with agents and there's probably something that's coming to Rails, but in the meantime I would love to understand how Ruby community is deploying agents to production?
@notgavn@sean_plus_one@dhh@opencode@FireworksAI_HQ Interesting. Everyday, I feel like the token limits are reduced by Anthropic. At least that's how it feels as a user. I feel that their focus is on enterprise, not community of small builders.
Well it depends. If you are working as a solo builder, like myself, getting traction to your product matters more than anything else.
The data these models collect, is none of my concern right now because all the actual user data, which needs safe gurading is in production db and there's no way I'll grant access to this data to any model, let alone Chinese.
On the other hand, if I were working in an enterprise setting, well, you know the answer.
So a lot depends on context of your work. Just saying.
@dhh@sean_plus_one@opencode I was checking their pricing. How come there are free models? Here https://t.co/kShRPVszLZ "GLM 5 Free", "Kimi K2.5 Free" among others are listed as free.
