In the game long enough to have exposure to everything in business.
But still yet to see compounding effects of endlessly iterating and improving upon the basics for a long time.
Some clients you can literally get a 300x ROI and they'll still nitpick over redundant details. Then others will forever breakeven on you (simply due to size of biz) but are amazing to work with.
9-5 lifestyle is peak tbh
Wake up early. Travel to office. Oat flat-white from favourite cafe. 4hrs focused work. Lunch and cig with mates in the city. Spend arvo scheming in front of laptop with cofounder.
Business is a marathon. And I could do this forever.
Doing free work for a testimonial/experience/logo on your site/etc seems like a good idea until you realise they don't care to use it bc it's free work and you don't really care either bc it's not paid
Doing our cashflow and it just hit me - people with businesses in other countries simply wouldnโt need to set aside cash to pay tax.
Like there is literally no account that exists where money is stashed to pay tax to the gov lol. What a thought.
