Big news: Kimi-K3 by @Kimi_Moonshot is now #1 in the Frontend Code Arena with 1679 pts, surpassing Claude Fable 5.

This is a 17-place jump from Kimi-k2.6 (#18 -> #1).

In Frontend, Kimi-K3 ranked #1 in 6 of 7 domains: Brand & Marketing, Reference-Based Design, Data & Analytics, Consumer Product, Simulations, and Content Creation Tools, landing #2 only in Gaming behind Fable 5.

The full model weights will be released by July 27.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.

The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.

Access to all other Claude models is not affected.

We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

I just modified a .ttf font file with Opus 4.6 in one go to add support for the Turkish lowercase letter "ı" to a font that didn’t include it. Small, but genuinely impressive.

I’ve been testing @antigravity for two weeks now. While I can overlook the bugs compared to @cursor_ai or @windsurf, the latency is a dealbreaker. Even with Gemini 3 Flash, it feels at least 10x slower than Cursor’s Composer-1 or Windsurf’s SWE-1.5. Not useful in 2026.
