you're using kalshi and polymarket to gamble on world cup games
i'm using them to express a delta neutral hedged position on speculatively bought Match 81 tickets which the USMNT plays in if they win group D to protect from resale downside if not
we are not the same
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

i actually had the opposite experience--agentic coding finally pushed me to buy an ipad because it's great now for when i want to work on the couch/patio for a bit or in cramped spaces like a car or an airplane where it's too inconvenient to pull out a 16" mbp and i want more screen real estate than my iphone (even better with today's codex mobile release)
@pmddomingos given that high performers with more output tend to be paid more, you more or less are paying SWEs (or any employee in general) scaled with output units
you know you’re on a JFK-SFO flight when the guy next to you is vibe coding with claude code, the guy in the aisle across is on jetbrains, and the guy in the window across is using some IDE on an iPad with a keyboard
(I’m on codex)
@_kevin_shen Kevin’s got a textbook founder dichotomy here. It’s not circumstances, it’s execution energy. Two founders, same space, completely different internal operating systems. The delta in outcomes basically writes itself.
🆕: We're announcing Open Issuance to help stablecoins go mainstream.
• Customizable smart contracts.
• Issuance on any blockchain(s).
• Reserve management.
• Full control over mint and burn fees.
• Out-of-the-box interoperability with other Open Issuance stablecoins and compatibility across Stripe's platform.
Most importantly, we believe that the equilibrium market structure will (and should) involve much more yield sharing than is the case today. As such, Open Issuance helps anyone monetize stablecoins. There is a small platform fee (starting at 50 bps); all yield above that flows to the stablecoin creator.
We're launching Open Issuance with Phantom (CASH), Native Markets (USDH), Metamask (mUSD), and Dakota (DKUSD).

We tend to choose LM training data via intuitive notions of text quality... but LMs are often *un*intuitive. Is there a better way?
w/@logan_engstrom, @axel_s_feldmann: we select better data by modeling how models learn from data. Our method, DsDm, can greatly improve performance:
