Thiago Motta’s Bologna have officially QUALIFIED for Champions League - what an incredible story for football 🇮🇹👏
This club and it’s fans have gone through countless ups and downs, but today, it’s all paid off.
22 years ago, Bologna missed out on Champions League qualification on the last day of the season.
Since then, Bologna fans had to endure 2 relegations to Serie B and mediocre Serie A seasons.
Now, Thiago Motta has come in and brought new life to the historic Italian club, entertaining the entire peninsula along the way and achieving the Champions League qualification that fans saw stripped away from them in 2002.
From being relegated in 2014, to reaching Europe’s most prestigious competition in 2024.

I mean, if you just absorbed a 1500 warhead nuclear strike you probably have more urgent issues than worrying about other adversaries 🙄 https://t.co/JbvgvyLv8J
