@CaseySapp Very well articulated! I will go even one step further. A few years down the road, many of these companies will come up with new pills, tests, scans, or some new form of treatment that will suppress some of the symptoms of chronic illnesses but will create a whole new array of side effects and symptoms, just like all of the pills that traditional pharmaceutical companies have developed.
The fundamental problem with many of these companies is that they are so focused on studying symptoms, cells, blood work, molecules, and DNA that they fail to recognize that the human body is a complex system of multiple interconnected subsystems that work holistically within the environment in which they exist. These companies are essentially trying to find some “magic pill” that will “cure” chronic illnesses rather than trying to understand the "root causes" of these illnesses and "prevent" them in a first place.
Modern medicine, as of now, has limited tools to fully understand the root causes of many chronic illnesses, and that is where a holistic system of medicine like Ayurveda comes into the picture. Ayurveda offers a framework for understanding chronic illness by looking at the human body and health as an interconnected system, with particular emphasis on gut health, digestion, and metabolism as important contributors to overall health and many chronic conditions.
@rishi_n_reddy I have reached out to you and your team a few times before. We warmly invite your team to visit our Ayurvedic Wellness Clinic in Bay Area to understand the Ayurvedic perspective on the root causes of these illnesses and explore how you could use some of these observations and data points in your current work at ChronicleBio.

@bryan_johnson The enlightened light cone of a species can be measured by the percent of awareness applied to securing its chronic diseases free existence.
The more advanced the awareness, the most it realizes that death is natural, and disease free existence is a choice.
@DrSuneelDhand In my opinion, most doctors do want to help their patients in the best way possible for chronic issues and get them off all medications but unfortunately they do not have any tools to do so. Modern medicine is clueless about how to even assess the metabolic health, let alone fix it. I, myself, went through severe IBS and worked with some of the best gastroenterologists to cure it but they could not. Ultimately, I worked with Ayurvedic expert and cured myself 100%.
@bryan_johnson If you have no solution for your own auto immune gastritis, what’s the point of these numbers ? We warmly invite you to our clinic to give you different perspective about your chronic issues.
@_katetolo@bryan_johnson There is another way to understand endometriosis.
Those of us who practice Ayurveda, India's traditional system of medicine, often described as the “Science of Life”, approach endometriosis from a very different perspective.
Rather than looking only at the symptoms, Ayurveda seeks to understand the underlying imbalances that may be contributing to them. Ayurvedic literature describes concepts such as disturbed Apana Vata and Udavarta Yonivyapada, which contemporary Ayurvedic practitioners use as part of their framework for understanding painful and abnormal menstrual patterns and tissue growth. A published case report in the Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine documents one woman's experience with this approach, including significant improvement in pain following Ayurvedic treatment.
Modern gynecology and Ayurveda understand endometriosis through very different frameworks. You don't have to accept either one blindly.
Learn about both. Ask questions. Understand the reasoning behind each approach. Then decide what makes the most sense for your body and your circumstances.
We warmly invite you to Kerala Ayurveda Wellness Center to meet with our experienced Ayurvedic practitioners and learn how Ayurveda understands endometriosis, its possible underlying imbalances, and the individualized approaches traditionally used to address them.
Our intention isn't to tell you to abandon your existing medical care. It's to give you an opportunity to understand another system of medicine and make a more informed decision about your health.
So, one of the best ways to kick-start the body's natural cleansing cycles is to live in alignment with its natural circadian rhythm.
But how do we actually follow our natural circadian rhythm?
This is where Ayurveda, “The Science of Life” comes into play.
As a sister science to Yoga and Meditation, Ayurveda offers a remarkably detailed understanding of how to live in harmony with the natural rhythms of our bodies and the world around us. Ancient Indian sages described these concepts in extraordinary detail in the classical texts of Ayurveda thousands of years ago -explaining not just what to eat, but when to eat, when to sleep, when to wake, how to move, how to cleanse, and how to structure our daily lives in alignment with nature.
In many ways, Ayurveda is not simply about treating disease. It is a science of how to live, designed to help us preserve balance, support the body's natural processes, and cultivate health throughout our lives.
Millions of humans have certain markers in their DNA or genes that make them more prone to specific types of cancer. For many, these genes never turn on, and they live their entire lives completely cancer-free, never having to go through the painful journey of cancer. For others, these genes turn on, and they find themselves going down the rabbit hole of modern medicine.
Every human body produces cancerous cells, and every human body naturally has an intelligence within it to identify and clear out these cells through its natural cleaning cycles. When these cleaning cycles become disrupted, some form of chronic illness may surface. If these cycles remain disrupted for years or even decades, some bodies may eventually turn these chronic issues into cancerous tissues as a mode of survival.
The Ayurvedic Root Cause of Cancer — Simplified
1 - The body's natural circadian rhythms become disrupted, sometimes for years or even decades due to individual lifestyle.
2 - This prolonged disruption creates immense stress on the body, contributing to complex hormonal imbalances and disrupting the body's natural cleansing and elimination mechanisms.
3 - Over time, this can lead to significant metabolic dysfunction. From an Ayurvedic perspective, food may no longer be properly digested, assimilated, and eliminated. This leads to the accumulation of metabolic toxins (Ama), which can begin circulating throughout the body and affecting the tissues at a cellular level.
4 - Eventually, as a mode of survival, the body may attempt to contain this accumulated burden in one part of the body, where it can manifest as abnormal tissue growth or a tumor.
Hi @kate_rouch , I completely agree. I believe integrative medicine, bringing together Ayurveda, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), yoga, meditation, homeopathy and modern medicine, is the need of the hour.
Since my own chronic illness journey, I’ve spent the last three years extensively studying Ayurveda and its principles of health. I’ve found its perspective on health and the underlying factors contributing to chronic illness including cancer incredibly fascinating. It offers a very different way of looking at health, prevention, and the body as a whole.
Have you ever had a chance to explore Ayurveda during
your cancer journey ?
@kate_rouch@kate_rouch You will find this very interesting , insightful and and it will give you completely new perspective on the root cause of the cancer.

Thanks Kate. I appreciate your response. I wanted to briefly share my journey and why I felt compelled to reach out to you.
Four years ago, I was leading an engineering team at Meta when I was diagnosed with severe IBS and POTS and had to take medical leave. For over two years, I went through antibiotics, steroids, CT scans, MRIs, colonoscopies, endoscopies, enteroscopies, and even an FMT. Nothing worked. I lost nearly 60 pounds and reached just 110 pounds. I had almost given up hope of ever getting better.
Then, through a combination of luck and desperation, I discovered Ayurveda. Today, I am nearly back to my old self, and I truly believe Ayurveda gave me my life back.
That experience was so profound that I left my career in technology and became a Growth & Strategy Partner at Kerala Ayurveda USA (A subsidiary of Kerala Ayurveda India, a publicly listed company in India) with a mission to bring authentic Ayurveda to more people in the U.S.
We have an Ayurvedic Education Academy and Wellness Center staffed with expert Ayurvedic doctors in the Bay Area.
Would you be open to a 15-minute phone or virtual conversation? I’d love to share my story, explain why I started following you and reached out, and answer any questions you may have about Ayurveda. I don't expect you to take my word for it. I can only share what Ayurveda did for me and how it can also help you in your journey with your chronic illness and eventually to more people in USA.
@bryan_johnson Be very careful of your knees. You don't need this level of weights to be healthy and have a long life. Once knees are gone, life will be screwed.
@kate_rouch Medication absolutely has an important place in medicine, and I don't believe it should be dismissed. But I do believe that prevention and root-cause investigation deserve much more attention alongside conventional treatment.
