It's more likely that the "inflation" we're experiencing now will be understood to history as a period of corporate greed -- whereby the economy experience a natural resizing, but inflation was incurred to keep profit margins up.
If you remember the economists reactions during 2008 you should see the difference today. Then there was tangible repercussions, today the theoretical recession has yet to emerge -- it's all esoteric trolley problems that need not be played.
