@R6Noob_@axiochrono No but if you are putting things on free parking that’s what you are trying to achieve. I don’t believe in this myself but this combines two of the popular house rules (free money / no auctions)
@putain817@axiochrono What if you put properties that were landed on and not bought on free parking and the next person to land there gets the cash and properties? Cash doesn’t really help you catch up much, free titles might…
@ReconnectingOx (It isn’t traffic filter rules broken, it’s the last day of the congestion charge - most likely moved congestion charge permits to filter permits one day early)
@ReconnectingOx It does tell you what to do in the letter you get with the fine (I have one) - you appeal it on the grounds you had permits left. They will then get back to you within 56 (!) days and it seems pretty clear cut that the fine should be cancelled.
@mylifcc Truth doesn’t change whether humans understand it, but academia and progress only happens if humans understand the truth. So an AI paper that humans don’t understand is the same as if that paper had never been written, it may be right but it has not advanced human knowldge
@Amiga_Square I have one on order... I hope I will be able to find a way to make it load all my old games discs that I can't currently access as the hard drive in my actual A1200 seems to be dead... but yes, would only be playing Beyond A Steel Sky and Settlers II of those!
@andrew_lilico Not really a policy so much as advertising a (good) feature on one of many mapping apps (and advertising that for them over other platforms that perhaps already offered this).
@augusteprompt@DuxVul2 And when travelling, sometimes convenience wins out - I don't want to pay motorway service station prices all the time but sometimes on a long journey it is worth it.
@pharmst@ReconnectingOx Wasn't thinking about it from the perspective of vehicle speed- more that if the overall roundabout centre was bigger, that's more space where you can fit eg light controlled pedestrian crossings, and bikes don't have to go the same route as cars
@pharmst@ReconnectingOx I think it could be made quite a lot safer by reducing the the narrow sharp turns by instead having a one way system round Dawson St and Circus St so the east side of the Plain is bikes & access only. (residents of those streets may disagree!)
@LobAllan@AutoPap@au_tom_otive They can’t slump from nothing where they are today! Maybe that complete stop of manufacture will work in their favour here
@blazercarl@AutoPap the Morsemobile looks almost exactly like the car jelly mould my Mum had when I was a child - no sharp corners anywhere, jelly doesn’t hold an edge well!
@AutoPap@aftermgarage You could argue the XJS didn’t look much like a Jaguar when it was new. This was better design in the end than S Type or X Type… I’d love an electric XF!
@tasteslikemus1c Somewhere in my heart by Aztec Camera. REM’s Orange Crush, stands out for being 100% harmonics. 4500x by the Quo, a Freebird from a band not famed for musicality.
@ReconnectingOx In the old days - when the Botley Road was first open - traffic would be backed up from the station all the way up to the Randolph regularly.
