@Se_Railway seriously. This “defective” track nonsense is getting a bit silly. Trains poked between St Pancras and Ashford. So late in the mornings, late most evenings…

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@Se_Railway I would have thought by now this would be fixed? I mean it’s been weeks

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@Se_Railway - for the last few weeks, I think the 706 from Ashford to St Pancras has been late. Not by much, but enough to cause delays on onward journeys. What is going on?

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@WeAreOpenreach are you able to give me an indication for how long, “available to order soon” is. It’s been 3 weeks since it went to that status and is a bit ambiguous. For reference I’m in Hamstreet, Kent.

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@Se_Railway Ok thank you, was hoping it was just that.

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@Se_Railway is there a reason 706 from Ashford to St Pancras been reduced to 6 cars. It’s very crowded…

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@ThePrimeagen the reason I am feeling guilty is your fault! I just wanted something to store instances of my topic partition groups (for my distributed event grid)! Having avoided this, with a full custom LSM and my own custom raft implementation, it ends with this... Why??? 😭

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@Se_Railway not that you lot actually care… But 706 from HS1 Ashford to London needs 12 coaches. 8k+ a year for the privilege of standing is a bit of a piss take. #southeasternfail

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

Seriously… #tui @ProblemsTui @TUIUK - we’re now more than 2 hours late leaving on TOM037 flight from Montego Bay to Gatwick. Apparently we have more bags than we were meant to. Not many updates - last was “we’ll be done in 15” half an hour ago. Not happy…

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@KentPoliceAsh It’s the speeding through the village itself on the ashford road, that’s the real problem

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@Se_Railway I put feedback in through your website… the fact that your own staff announce daily that there is only standing space is telling and it should be fixed.

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@Se_Railway #southeasternfail - rush hour trains from Ashford need 12 cars… it’s starting to take the piss, we pay nearly 800 a month to travel the 60 or so miles standing. 7:06, 7:13, 7:37 - put feedback in - no response.

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@Se_Railway #southeasternfail 706 from Ashford needs more than 6 coaches… Saying there is standing room only when we pay £800 a month for a 40 minute journey is not fair. Passengers deserve better.

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@Se_Railway 706 / 713 from Ashford (hs1) needs more than 6 coaches…

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@SouthernRailUK delayed 6:53 Hamstreet to Ashford again - with knock on to connections… everyday… sort it out. #southernfail

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@CoyModemKnight @SouthernRailUK this proves my point. Just because today was slightly delayed the service has been poor for a while now, often ensuring we miss connections. #southernfail

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@CoyModemKnight Indeed! Although they did respond with a condescending message about it being slightly delayed. It’s terrible service and they don’t really care.

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@SouthernRailUK This is probably the first time since the end of lockdown that this has been somewhat on time - usually 10 minutes late every day - often more.

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

Every time I plan on travelling to London I find the 6:52 from @SouthernRailUK is delayed #southernfail seems to be a daily occurrence. When are you going to sort it out?

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@SouthernRailUK It’s ironic that when I finally decide to post about it always being delayed. It ends up changing to a minute… I was greeted with this earlier….

[Ian Michell @ianmichell]

@SouthernRailUK Apparently it’s only a minute late now. Hamstreet to Ashford
