Gaps form in the back 4 and easy for opp slip their CF in. This is why MID must be close to DEF so that they don’t allow the opp free time&space between lines. System is the probl.

@upchelseablues @Blue_Footy But to your point, this will give him a blueprint. I watched the game and the highlights and didn’t realise how many more chances they had against us than we had against them. Let’s hope that it’s a team chemistry thing and not the system that needs changing.

My issue is that the system depends on the willingness/ability of the players to track back faster than the attackers can run to the box. This is unsustainable. It will be like a basketball match.

@upchelseablues @Blue_Footy Crazy. I feel like we will concede too many goals to be honest. This thing of compacting central spaces and allowing opposition to go wide isn’t cute. I would like us to put the ball down more and play but it seems a lot is being tossed up aerially and it’s unsustainable.
