@UConntweets the day we announce membership, the top 4 ACC schools willl announce their departure. As bad as UConn wants to get "in", I wouldn't go to the ACC. Stability is the key, and ACC doesn't have it as long as the big brands want out.
@doldmoose@kstone06 respectfully, this is not UConn's "super bowl". an important P4 game for an independent looking to build their resume for P4 candidacy, but even a 6-0 BC team is not UConn's super bowl... let alone a 1-5 BC. ND, Ohio State, maybe... not BC.
@TTU_Tyrell UConn will die before they sign up for that mess - it's simply the AAC with one letter Difference (aCc) and a couple merginally better teams than the old AAC. No thanks.
@bensh19944@speed_in_space i would love that. but flagship institutions want to be with other flagship institutions, not baby catholics. UConn does not want to be in a league with private catholics. It HAS to be, until someone saves them.
@biggestISUfan if the above happens, there is no ACC left for UConn to be added to. it will be pac12 all over again. and in the end, wake forest and syracuse will stay behind holding on to the ACC carcass while looking for their lifeboat
@CoachJimMoraFB coach, we love you. Your OC is going to get you fired. not personal at all, but the eyeball test speaks for itself. please save this ship.
@CoachJimMoraFB@AmoreCourant@UConnFootball Coach, please stay with us and finish what you started. Long road for sure, but I for one am thankful you came here at such a tough time. Appreciate your heart, keep goin
@damuuu98@Dubsco formerly known as CW Post Pioneers, a few years back the leadership of LIU combined the athletic programs of LIU-CW Post & LIU-Brooklyn (blackbirds), to become the now "sharks". Post got the football team and promoted it from D2 to FCS, while brooklyn got the D1 basketball team
after 2.5 games watched, I still believe in @UConnFootball 's head coach Jim Mora. But I also believe this 2023 team cannot be coached into improvement. A severe blow-up/re-start of the roster is needed, along with 2 QUALITY hires at Off & Def coordinators. Im sry 4 Jxn Mitchell
it's clear to me that @UConnFootball , while struggling with less than optimal playcalling, is most impacted by a severe loss or regression of talent. You can't be outgunned at every single position group for 3 games straight without it being straight up talent.
@aburks41 @JustonRenewable @uconn_2022 does uconn own the forested land around the new hockey center, all the way down to that road at the bottom of the image?
@BackInStorrs Agreed. That being said, footballs ability to be competitive gets more compromised the more the power conferences pay their schools. It’s a cruel joke to DEMAND that UConn to prove their worth to B12 et al. on our Indy budget vs their tv contract. If we win 7+ 2023, we proved it
@JohnFSilver@frankingeneral just mentioning - UConn can't get the recruits we need, to keep up with a B12 opponent, without B12 badge ourselves. So any offer of a schedule agreement is just them taking advantage of us while making it look like they're helping. Another insult.
@UConn6thBorough B12 fans throwing around the consolation prize of a "schedule agreement" for FB, so we give them basketball and nothing else, while COMPLETELY ignoring the critcal points you just made. It's 100% unfair to put our kids against their kids, who were convinced by the B12 badge.
