Especially frigid winter weather is supposed to hit us this weekend!
Are your pipes winter ready? Here are some tips to prevent frozen or burst pipes during frigid temperatures:
- disconnect outdoor hoses
- keep the heat in your home at least 55 degrees
- allow your faucets to drip to prevent freezing

In the early morning hours, responders completed proactively treating primary and secondary routes with a salt/sand mix after pre-treating with brine throughout yesterday. Emergency Accident Reporting is in effect, and if you have to get out, drivers are urged to use caution.
