@Speedkicks I've been slowly cooking up a plan for a new PC build, but I've been annoyed at the prospect of needing to dual boot for gaming. I'll need to look in to the current state of Linux gaming. I imagine kernel-level anticheat games will still force you to run windows for them.
@romansten9kjv@Scivf4 Yes, because the full area of the rectangle they drew is 2πr^2, but there's no clear indication that the desired area of the circle should be half of that shape. It's a bit of an unnecessarily confusing thing to set up the animation the way they did I think.
@Scivf4 I get what this is trying to show - you should probably finish off the animation explicitly showing the resultant area is pi*r^2 and is exactly half of the rectangle defined by the r and 2*pi*r lines you drew. It's all a bit clunky imo.
The 4:50 color vid here is interesting. After following a dark colored flying object for a while, it ultimately returns to the original ravine area. I missed it at first, but there is a light object emerging from the ravine's shadow in the last 10 secs - lower right-hand side.
