And this was not a simple blast…
These are the same cluster munitions, which break out from a single missile into dozens of small explosives and spread across a wide area.

That’s exactly why these weapons are considered dangerous... they don’t just hit the intended target, but also affect nearby civilian areas. Many times, unexploded pieces remain and become a threat even later.
According to reports, Iran is continuously using such cluster warheads, and impact and damage have been seen at multiple locations in central Israel.
The clear point is…
This is exactly why cluster munitions are banned.. they are not controlled weapons, but cause area-wide destruction.

The 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions has been signed by 100+ countries… but both Iran and Israel are not part of it.

Which means what’s happening on the ground is not just a military clash it is becoming a direct threat to civilians.. 😏
