@grquer@YahudiBrudi Clueless pseudo-leftist expat thinks the scenes shown are new and exclusive to „critics of Israel“ and not decades old practice towards any loosely leftist demonstrations
Any serious critique of Zionism and Israel would place them alongside other nationalisms and view them from that lens. But ofc that would require actual study of things
I am not sure how such news passed without proper notice. But Hamas today refused to start disarming for the entry of the new Gaza technocratic committee.
On another note, the countries that pledged to donate money to the board of Peace and the reconstruction of Gaza are still hesitant given Hamas's control over the Strip and the war in Iran. (Only US, UAE, and Morocco have funded so far out of 10 countries pledged funds).
Hamas is blocking the rebuilding of Gaza since the ceasefire, and the absolute silence about this is something no short of shameful.
No one denies Arabization took centuries. That’s how durable systems of domination work.
You’re treating slowness as evidence of tolerance. It isn’t.
Empires don’t need instant conversion. They need hierarchy, taxation, and control over land and law. Once that’s in place, transformation can unfold gradually while still being structurally imposed.
That’s the point.
The lack of immediate mass conversion reflects constraints, not kindness.
Calling it a “long process” doesn’t make it neutral any more than slow settler expansion becomes benign because it takes generations.
If anything, it proves the opposite. This was not an event but a structure, one that reorganized power and identity over time.
And once you accept that, the selective refusal to apply the same logic elsewhere stops looking like scholarship and starts looking like preference.
@DOCTOR_RAGEBERG@LDav000 @01xNithin @USA_Polling Iran uses cluster bombs over cities ffs. Do you only read groypers, Iranian state media and other hyper-right media?
The Hezbollah cleric Israel eliminated today had posted that the first thing that should happen after the war ended was to topple the Lebanese government (for voting to disband Hezbollah). He was gone before the Lebanese cabinet.
@ZaidJilani@kampeas You cannot have the last laugh when you perish by annihilation. This is what happened to the overwhelming majority of Bundists the article is talking about
They "look like" Nazi memes because they ARE Nazi memes & the people who made them have repeatedly proven that they will happily align themselves with Nazis & other white supremacists.
This is not a new phenomenon.
Jews have been trying to call attention to this for years now.
It's even weirder when you realize Persepolis has a very positive view of Marx and socialism. Admittedly, my guess is these tankies never read the book or watched the cartoon. They just hate that it's anti-Islamic Republic.
Lebanon’s Minister of Justice Adel Nasar has ordered the security apparatus to arrest those responsible within Hezbollah for last night’s rocket launchers towards Northern Israel.
