We found him folks! The words perfect dad.
Let’s this be a reminder that we are all failing as parents and that this parenting should be the standard we all strive to be.
Let’s all give him a round of applause 👏
Question for the hydration break haters…
Would you rather a pre determined 3-minute hydration break twice a game or multiple “injury” breaks throughout the match?
At the Qatar World Cup there was, on average, 12 minutes of stoppage time.
At the 2026 World Cup (ignoring hydration breaks) it is just 6 minutes.
Does this mean Pierluigi Collina's plan to cut time-wasting and get more football played is working?

This isn’t that hard to understand.
At the time of the original kick, no player was offside.
At the time of the deflection, one player was in an offside position, but never played the ball or interfered with the keeper.
The player who scored was onside.
Goal
@stevebrookstein The player in question had no bearing on the play.
The officials didn’t just make a split-second decision either, they had the benefit of video review.
Professional referees reviewed it and overturned the call. Pretty sure they’re confident they got it right.
@MusialaEra@charnold22690 This is a West Coast game.
If the U.S. had choice, there is a 0.0% chance it would have been scheduled for 3:00 PM ET.
Any sports fan knows they’d have targeted a prime-time window closer to when people get out of work on the West Coast.
AKA 8:30 PM ET / 5:30 PM PT
Has this happened in an MLB game yet?
Extra innings
1 out runner on 3rd
Home team AB
Team intentionally walks 2 batters to load the bases
Situation just happened in an NECBL game.
Can we talk about the new telemarketer scam?
They call from a different number every time.
You answer.
Nobody’s there.
The call drops after 5 seconds.
And they STILL leave you a voicemail.
There is literally no way to opt out of this nonsense. 😡
Federal investigation
Oof, the ignorance here is rough.
Soccer is 11 players trying to coordinate dozens of movements and decisions, all while using only their feet.
When a goal comes from a sequence of perfectly timed runs and passes, it's poetry in motion. That's the beauty of the sport. ⚽️
It's called a huddle.
And it's for the sake of strategy.
I understand with soccer you just run around and kick the ball. With the real football, there is strategy in moving 11 bodies towards the goalline in 11 different motions and paths, all for the same sake. It's poetry in motion, brother.
There is nothing more demoralizing for a program than finally, after years of waiting for the right pieces, losing to a team full of recruited players.
Create 3 tournaments:
1) Public
2) Vocational
3) Private/charter
Give 1 & 2 the option to opt into the Private tournament
I really think MIAA needs to start exploring this.
The argument that the private schools don't always win doesn't hold any water in my opinion.
Here is why...
Section 1 member schools voted 69-4 to add an amendment to the constitution effectively barring private schools from sectional tournament play.
The four dissenting votes came from the impacted non-public schools - Albertus Magnus, Keio, Leffell and Ursuline.
For example, it doesn't matter if their big is graduating. 2 years ago, they bought in a freshman big as the replacement.
Public schools don't have that luxury. The incoming class is the incoming class. There literally might not be a replacement for years.
