Honestly, I’m not sure what the strategy is behind calling the Hindi version of #Jailer2 as “Rajini the Jailer 2.”

Jailer 2 is Jailer 2. Period. It is a universal title, and there is absolutely no need to create a separate title for the Hindi market.

We’ve seen the same different Hindi title trend with #Jailer and #Coolie as well. If a film is being positioned as a true Pan 🇮🇳 release, the title should be ONE across all languages.

A separate Hindi title can create unnecessary confusion across ticket-booking platforms, listings, search results and ultimately even affect the film’s overall visibility and box-office tracking.

Look at films like Thug Life, Dhurandhar Toxic, Jawan, Pushpa, RRR, KGF etc, the same title is being carried across languages. That is how a Pan-India film should be presented.

And if there is an older film with the same title, securing the necessary rights is part of the producer’s responsibility. We’ve seen several films use titles of older Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan films.

Jailer 2 is already a 🌎 recognisable title. There is no reason to complicate it.

This is a genuine concern from the fans. 🙏

Please consider having JAILER 2 as the ONE title across all languages, including Hindi.
