Reports indicate he has been tortured twice in detention and forced into a confession. He has been denied all contact with his family.

The arrest, torture, and detention without access to family or legal counsel of a minor are clear violations of children’s rights and raise serious concerns about his physical and mental health.

On January 15, she was arrested at her workplace by several government agents with covered faces in Kerman. There has been no news of her whereabouts, no phone call, no word on her physical condition.

Dr. Babak (Hossein) Zarabian, an infectious disease specialist in Isfahan, was arrested on Tuesday, January 13, after security forces raided his home solely for providing medical care to people injured by state forces.

He had also treated victims of violent crackdowns during the 2022 protests. During the January 13th raid, his home was damaged and personal belongings, including his computer, were confiscated.
