I see many amazingly hard working individuals in my clinic whose identity is so intertwined with work, that when work is stressful, everything else is. If possible, we need to separate these two identities, so our life isn't dictated by the stresses of work. #psychology#NHS
Remember, you *are* person & *have* a job role, not the other way. Work is a big part of our identity but it isn't all we are. The name on our email signatures stays the same but the job title changes & eventually goes. Let's try to connect with who we are as people, not titles.
