May I invite you to a fun thread about a delightful quirk of relativity theory? Starting with a simple fact about rotations, I’ll hope to give you some intuition about something that’s considered wildly counterintuitive: velocity addition. Intrigued? Buckle up!
As a software developer, you may be called upon to perform some of these tasks in your career.
How well a CS degree prepares you for these tasks (and whether it even should prepare you for these) is left as an exercise to the reader.

@UnitedAirlines_ you couldn’t add 3 more inches to your back row, amortized across 38 rows, to allow it to recline? You’re inhuman. I hate you. I hate you forever.
@harryhurst It’s not limited to immigration. I’m just trying to get a company name change processed by the IRS. It should be simple database update but after waiting 6 months for a letter I called and was told they are at least that far behind maybe more. Tons of paper and bureaucracy!
@tobi Feedback from a now restauranteur, customers move tables all over the place even when asked not to. Chaos will ensue. You’d have to stay pretty on top of your table and ordering layout sync. Things also move around to accommodate different sized parties. Won’t work everywhere.
@ToastTab Between the California FTB, the Federal IRS, and Toast business validation, your bureaucracy is by far the worst, and hardest to navigate. We don't plan on recommending you to anyone anymore.
