If you admire Archbishop Lefebvre as I once fervently did, look into the life of Saint Mark of Ephesus.
Both men stood against false councils.
Both refused compromise with heresy.
Both clung to the tradition that was handed to them.
Yet only one is called Saint.
@ChrisCallsIt But michael orthodox is like totally ironic or whatever dawg so he scandalize the faithful as much as he wants

“No, a true patriot does not close his eyes to the sins and ills of his people; he sees them, grieves over them, struggles with them and repents before God and other peoples for himself and his nation.”
- Metropolitan Philaret of New York
“There such a thing as a true American: an honest, forthright, normal person for whom Holy Orthodoxy is quite natural; and the harvest of these true Americans is only beginning.”
Fr. Seraphim Rose

Even in the first millennia leading to the schism, the Bishops of Rome made moves for power grabs. To be in communion with the pope has always been a geopolitical move. Power justifies the illogical madness
‼️🚨☦️🇷🇺 Was Alexander Solzhenitsyn right about everything?
“You must understand: the Bolshevik leaders who took over Russia were not Russians. They hated Russians. They hated Christians. Driven by ethnic hatred, they tortured and killed millions of Russians without the slightest human remorse.
The October Revolution was not what you in America call the ‘Russian Revolution.’ It was an invasion and conquest of the Russian people.
My compatriots suffered more horrific crimes at the hands of these bloodthirsty men than any people or nation has ever suffered in the history of mankind. This should not be underestimated.
Bolshevism was the greatest human slaughter of all time.
The fact that the world knows nothing about this reality is proof that the global media itself is in the hands of the perpetrators.”
@JayDyer The papal claims make more sense in light of St. Peter as the auctor & princeps senatus and the popes being his inheritors. When the popes speak of St. Peter as the "Prince of the Apostles" ("Princeps Apostolorum"), it's using the Roman legal framework of the Princeps Senatus.
