@itsauroraeeeee U guys r genuinely stupid 😭😭 oh rlly the ppl who can’t do easy papers are stupid I’m sure they never knew. Like what is the convo to have here? And then the tweet u quoted as well lolll like yes it’s easy and ppl still fail. I feel like u can tell a lot abt ppl like u guys
@itsauroraeeeee When u say these things. Like seriously? A convo needs to be had? Instead we should have a serious conversation about how u lot navigate the world. Its soo so interesting to me
@walkhandan@ludifel@wrdjmie@Math_files Im currently doing my A levels. They are designed to gauge a student’s comprehension and application. While someone could work extremely hard learning content and even being able to regurgitate info without understanding it they would not be able to get top grades as they can’t
@walkhandan@ludifel@wrdjmie@Math_files In the exams I took at least it’s very rare that someone is able to get top grades without being intelligent. While work ethic is often a big factor and many ppl may have more of that than intelligence they are at least somewhat intelligent
@ekhein_@wrdjmie@Math_files I agree fully especially the last point. I was just saying that academic performance does not reflect academic intelligence
@ekhein_@wrdjmie@Math_files Close to the same as what would make someone logically smart. I think ppl like u are academically smart however which way performance reflects that
@ekhein_@wrdjmie@Math_files But would u say that u were academically stupid? If u had the ability to perform well with minimal effort then I don’t think u were necessarily academically stupid just your performance didn’t reflect your intelligence. The factors that makes someone academically “smart” are
@AnastasiiaAsp@wrdjmie@Math_files To be trained like a muscle so maybe it’s more appropriate to say has/had the capacity to do so) this means that academic intelligence is not to do with performance but the key characteristics which would be shown with academic performance
@AnastasiiaAsp@wrdjmie@Math_files Imo I see “academically smart” as someone who would for example understand concepts quickly and be able to retain and then eventually regurgitate concepts in an acceptable format. A person could never go to school and still be able to be academically smart(tho ppl say brain needs
@ludifel@wrdjmie@Math_files Yes but someone can be academically smart without being academically successful. Someone who gets A*s is an intelligent person regardless of work ethic or not. A person who gets Ds can be academically gifted at the same level as the other person
