Today evening, we ventured out once again to witness the Great Nile Migration; one of nature’s most extraordinary spectacles. As far as the eye could see, vast herds of antelopes stretched across the landscape, moving in their millions alongside countless other wildlife species.
Standing in the heart of this remarkable ecosystem was a truly humbling experience and a reminder of South Sudan’s incredible natural heritage. The Boma-Badingilo landscape continues to showcase one of the greatest wildlife migrations on Earth, a treasure that deserves global recognition and conservation.

South Sudan's logistics sector is at an early stage of development - and early stages are where the greatest investment opportunities are found.
GLC 2026 gives investors a firsthand view of a market still being shaped: its trade corridors, its regulatory environment and its growing base of clearing and forwarding operators.
Attending puts investors ahead of a market curve that is only beginning to attract regional attention.
The convention is a chance to observe, engage and position early.

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has introduced an Advance Cargo Declaration (ACD) platform for containerized cargo destined for Kenyan ports, effective 3rd August 2026.
Exporters and clearing agents handling Kenya-bound consignments will need to secure an ACD reference code via https://t.co/a5b9zcQyQu prior to loading, supported by the Draft Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Freight Invoice, and Export Declaration.
SSFFA advises members transiting cargo through Kenyan ports to begin familiarizing themselves with this process ahead of the rollout date to avoid clearance delays.
Happy Independence Day, South Sudan!
On this 15th Independence Anniversary, South Sudan Freight Forwarders Association (SSFFA) joins the nation in celebrating the resilience, unity and progress of the Republic of South Sudan.
As the umbrella body representing clearing and freight forwarding agents across our country, SSFFA recognizes the vital role that trade and logistics play in the nation’s economic development and regional integration. Every day, our members work at border crossings and clearance points to keep goods moving - sustaining businesses, supporting livelihoods and connecting South Sudan to regional and global markets.
We remain committed to professionalism, regulatory compliance and service excellence across our operations, and to strengthening the freight forwarding sector as a pillar of national trade facilitation.
As we look ahead, we also continue preparations to host the 7th Global Logistics Convention (GLC 2026) this August in Juba - an opportunity to showcase South Sudan’s growing role in regional logistics and to bring together partners from across East Africa and beyond.
To the Government, our members and all South Sudanese celebrating today - congratulations on this milestone. May the year ahead bring greater peace, unity and prosperity for our nation.
