Police have detained 21 Orang Asli villagers from Kampung Jemeri in Rompin, Pahang, for alleged trespassing.

However, villagers’ representative Azman Idom, 36, told Malaysiakini that those detained, who are from the Jakun tribe, were attempting to dismantle a barricade erected at the entrance to what they say is their customary land.

“The incident occurred when residents tore down a blockade erected by a company that claims to hold a land title over the village area.

“Previously, there had already been discussions between the villagers and the company, but no resolution was reached."

A little rebel. 15 books to get to know me.

How does one choose only ten or only 15 books? It’s tough, took me days to finalize this. These books aren’t just the ones that I Iove, but each of them holds memories, fragments of an era I once lived.

Dah tulis, sila lah ada accountability. Jangan bila kena kecam kita play victim cakap orang lain triggered, tak boleh dibawa berbincang yada yada, sedangkan tadi kita yang rage bait orang lain.

Kita dipertanggungjawabkan atas apa yang kita buat. Sebelum menulis, fikir lah dulu, “patut ke tidak nak tulis macam ni?” Bercakap mungkin boleh terlepas sebab mulut lagi laju dari tangan, tapi menulis takkan lah tak boleh fikir. Allah bagi akal, gunalah sebaiknya.
