Hunter Biden is out here intertwining his loss and despair. To make folks feel sorry for Graham Platner. If that is not a white supremacist move then I don't know what is.
Derek Chauvin, police officer sworn to protect and serve, pressed his knee into George Floyd’s neck for more than nine minutes, betrayed the public trust, and helped ignite a global reckoning on police brutality. He was sentenced to 22 years.
Karmelo Anthony, a Black teenager, involved in a confrontation that ended in tragedy was sentenced to 35 years.
Whether you agree with every aspect of either case is not the point. The question is why America reserves its harshest punishments for Black defendants while extending greater grace, understanding, and leniency to white ones.
Justice cannot be blind if race continues to shape who is viewed as a threat, who is viewed as redeemable, and whose life is considered worthy of empathy.
The disparity speaks for itself.
At least 88 corporations paid $0 in federal income tax last year.
Those 88 corporations also happened to spend $852 MILLION on political lobbying the last three election cycles.
They're essentially making a 3,000% return on investment.
The system is rigged.
Oh. So. It's not just algae that's a problem. The Reflecting Pool is now leaking worse than it ever has (which was the reason Trump used to justify this entire project....the leaks) AND it appears the state of the art filter Obama had installed was not re-installed, hence, the algae in just 2 days instead of weeks/months with the filter. Because Obama is black.
Hunter, with all due respect and admiration for what you've accomplished, your premise is faulty. Women and Jews and Black people, the communities affected by Planter's words and deeds, don't have to show anyone jackshit, because hate is NOT an equal opportunity situation. White Gentile men HAVE THE PHYSICAL AND POLITICAL POWER to turn their hate into violent and harmful actions. And when the man in question refuses to acknowledge this aspect of his behavior, forgiveness is not only undeserved, it's unwise.
At just 24 years old, Miracle is currently in training to become a full commercial airline pilot, breaking barriers and inspiring countless young Black girls along the way.
From New York to the cockpit, she’s turning dreams into reality in an industry where Black women are still extremely rare.
This is Black Girl Magic at 30,000 feet.
I see you, Queen Miracle! Keep soaring, the sky is not the limit, it’s just the beginning.👏🏾
