you must believe you are special and then go so hard, for so long, with such violent refusal to accept any other ending, that reality itself starts running out of ways to tell you no. you must wage a war daily against the ordinary outcome, until the belief you invented out of nothing in a room by yourself has been hammered into the world so many times that it stops being a claim and becomes reality.
In an age of permissionless leverage, judgement, not work, determines success and failure.
Good judgement is the product of a calm and curious mind, reasoning without motivation and attachment.
Whatever strengthens your ego weakens your judgement, and ultimately, your success.
@Cereal_Intern@IDrawCharts Account inception is probably unnecessary, but a 1-3 month look back gives you a good feel for their interests. Then you simply stay on top of it. I have ~20 high signal accounts I have read every single tweet/reply and like for the last four years. It’s all out there, for free.
@GCRClassic Why bother running against Trump in 2024 and risk a brutal primary + alienating Trump voters when he can simply wait it out and run in 2028 when there won’t be a GOP incumbent no matter what.
Perpetual optimism, believing in yourself, believing in your purpose, believing you will prevail, and demonstrating passion and confidence, is a force multiplier
No matter your lovely technique
No matter the nonsensical instruction
No matter your useless work ethic
No matter your idiotic morning routines
No matter your laughable self-talk . . .
If you are not Obsessed
You are going Nowhere.
Fast, lift, sprint, stretch, and meditate.
Build, sell, write, create, invest, and own.
Read, reflect, love, seek truth, and ignore society.
Make these habits. Say no to everything else.
Avoid debt, jail, addiction, disgrace, shortcuts, and media.
Relax. Victory is assured.
I think of pre-headline people as a key demographic.
For some, it's all just rumor till they see it acknowledged in the pages of a publication they respect. Still others of course believe anything, and have no filter.
But the pre-headline person knows facts before the headline.
A video of your parents isn’t your parents.
The recorded song isn’t the live performance.
The picture of the fireworks isn’t the fireworks.
If you think you can capture the past,
and relive it anytime,
you miss the richness of the present.
