🇩🇪 Prokuratura w Monachium umorzyła postępowanie wobec Alexa Krolla - odpowiedzialnego za głodzenie i ostatecznie mord na ok. 1000 pacjentów szpitala psychiatrycznego w 🇵🇱 Kobierzynie.

Odznaczony Krzyżem Zasługi Wojennej za swe wysiłki na terytoriach okupowanych Kroll pracował po wojnie w administracji państwowej - m. in. jako kierownik biura Federalnego Urzędu Transportu.

Po zakończeniu kariery - w uznaniu długiej służby narodowi w trakcie wojny i po jej zakończeniu - otrzymał wysoką emeryturę. A za zbrodnie w Kobierzynie nie odpowiedział ostatecznie nikt.

Jednym z fundamentów postanazistowskiego reżimu Republiki Federalnej była pełna amnestia dla zbrodni popełnianych na etnicznych Polakach.

To się fachowo nazywa - "Rechtsstaat" - "państwo prawa" z niemiecką charakterystyką.

The Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) is responsible for the genocide in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia.

By decision of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Independent Special Operations Center “North” will be named in honour of the “Heroes of the UPA.” The granting of this name was justified as an effort to “restore the historical traditions of the national army.”

The Ukrainian authorities’ promotion of the cult of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army must provoke opposition from all those who remember the activities of this formation.

Founded in 1942, the UPA was based on the ideological foundation of the so-called “Decalogue of the Ukrainian Nationalist” from 1929, which includes, among others, the following statement: “You will not hesitate to commit even the greatest crime if the good of the cause demands it.”

This was a prophetic announcement of the genocide committed against Poles in the years 1943–1945 in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia.

The Volhynia Massacre was a method of building an ethnically homogeneous Ukrainian state, one devoid of the minorities inhabiting those lands, mainly Poles and Jews. “With the beginning of military operations for independence,” declared one of the program documents of the OUN faction led by Stepan Bandera, “the question of national minorities must be resolved at all costs. To resolve this issue, representatives of national minorities, enemies of the people, must be eliminated.”

Organised attacks on Polish villages began in February 1943 and continued until 1945. The peak of the UPA atrocities came on Sunday, July 11, 1943, when thousands of inhabitants were massacred in nearly 100 Polish villages in Volhynia.

In the following months, the genocide carried out by the UPA in Volhynia also spread to Eastern Galicia, the Chełm region, and the Rzeszów region. “You observe the methods of operation in Volhynia - do the same in your own area. You will prevail. [...] The OUN-UPA must have authority among the masses.

The masses must believe in you and follow you. If someone does not wish to believe in the UPA, in you, and in the leadership, they must feel the hard and vengeful punishing hand,” stated an appeal addressed to UPA members in the Chełm region in the spring of 1944.

Polish historians estimate that approximately 120,000 Poles - including women, the elderly, and children - were killed at the hands of Ukrainian nationalists. Victims also included Ukrainians who warned their Polish neighbours of the approaching danger.

Adam Zamenhof , the son of the creator of the Esperanto language, was a physician, who served in the Polish Army.

During WW2, he became the head of the Jewish Hospital in Warsaw. Few weeks later, he was arrested by the Gestapo and #OTD in 1940, executed in the Palmiry Massacre.

🇬🇧 Naprawdę, trudno w to uwierzyć, a jednak... W Wielkiej Brytanii z rejestrów noworodków po cichu zniknęła w wielu szpitalach rubryka "płeć". Zmianę dostrzegły położne jednego ze szpitali podczas szkolenia personelu z nowego systemu informatycznego. Zniknęła "płeć", ale za to pojawiła się w ustawieniach domyślnych "orientacja seksualna" i "tożsamość płciowa" noworodka. Ta aktualizacja systemu brytyjskiego NFZ-u (czyli NHS) kosztowała bagatela 450 milionów funtów. Felietonistka The Telegraph, Celia Walden: "Zastanówmy się, jak bardzo wypaczona musi być grupa ludzi, by zasugerować, że noworodek mógł – w ciągu pięciu minut swojego istnienia na Ziemi – zdecydować, że w ostatecznym rozrachunku jest „trigender” (osobą posiadającą trzy tożsamości płciowe jednocześnie)." Tytuł felietonu dość wymowny: "Żądanie od położnych rejestrowania orientacji seksualnej noworodków jest obrzydliwe"

What Germany has done to Poland is not just a historical injustice, it is an ongoing moral failure. Yes, the past is the past, but how a nation acknowledges that past defines its present.

To erect a rock, a literal stone, in place of proper recognition and restitution for the systematic annihilation of an entire people and culture is not remembrance - this is an insult disguised as symbolism.

This is not closure or justice. It is a second crime: the erasure of dignity. Every Polish village burned, every child taken, every body buried beneath rubble, all of it dismissed with a rock.

Germany found the money to rebuild itself, to fund reconciliation with others, to pay reparations elsewhere, but for Poland, only silence and stone.

Honor is not found in stone, it’s found in truth, accountability, and the courage to say: We have wronged you, and we owe you.

Until that happens, justice remains unfinished, and the wound stays open.

#OTD in 1946, the London Victory Parade took place to celebrate the Allied victory in WW2.

The Polish Armed Forces in the West, key contributors to the victory, were excluded to appease the Soviets, who had installed a communist puppet government in Poland.
