தமிழைச் சரியாகப் பேசுங்கள் என்பது, அப்படி ஒன்றும் மோசமான விமர்சனம் இல்லை. அதற்காக எனக்கு கிறிஸ்தவம் கற்றுக் கொடுத்த மொழியை தமிழை எவ்வளவு படித்தவர்களாலும் புரிந்து கொள்ள முடியாது என்ற எதிர்வினை பாரதூரமான விளைவுகளை ஏற்படுத்தும்.

நீங்கள் பைபிளைத் தமிழில் படித்தால் கூட நல்ல தமிழில் உரையாற்ற முடியும். தமிழின் பேச்சாளுமைகளை வகைப்படுத்தினால் முதல் வரிசையில் வைக்க வேண்டிய அய்யா வலம்புரி ஜான், பள்ளி, கல்லூரி நாட்களில் பைபிளைப் படித்துக் காட்ட கிடைத்த வாய்ப்பு தான் சிறந்த பேச்சாளராக ஒரு காரணம் என பதிவு செய்திருக்கிறார்.

மிக எளிதாக கடந்து போயிருக்க வேண்டிய விஷயத்தை ஆபத்தான பாதை நோக்கி திருப்பியிருக்கிறீர்கள். ஒரு சொல் வெல்லும்; ஒரு சொல் கொல்லும். வெல்லும் சொற்களைக் கைக்கொள்வோம்.
