The blood of my people is where I draw the line. Today, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa mourns yet again. Families are grieving, and our people are bearing the unbearable cost of terrorism. And yet, instead of standing with the victims in this tragedy, we are being told to “learn from our losses.” What kind of insensitivity even is this? These are our people, our families and our children. First the reckless comment from CM Punjab @MaryamNSharif and now this. Enough.
My people have already sacrificed enough. If we cannot yet guarantee them security, the very least they deserve is solidarity, dignity and respect in their hour of grief

Why do we tell high school seniors to identify a major for college that will determine their future career? I studied engineering in college then became a doctor. I almost never use the things I learned in my college classes. And you can learn so many new skills after college. I know English majors who work in tech and chemistry majors who run restaurants. The pressure we put on 17 year olds to choose their future seems unnecessary to me. Life is full of opportunities to take new paths. College is just one step on a long journey.
