Where did the incident occur?

The incident took place on Mahal Road in the Jagatpura area of ​​Jaipur, Rajasthan (near Capital High Street and the Akshaya Patra Temple).

This area falls under the jurisdiction of the Ramnagaria Police Station.

Reshu Gupta, a momo vendor, suffered burns over half her body.

• On Friday, June 19, 2026, between 6:30 PM and 6:45 PM, the police were clearing the road on Mahal Road, Jagatpura, Jaipur, ahead of the passing of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s convoy.

• Reshu Gupta (27), a https://t.co/pGStriOZDR. graduate, had started a "Healthy Atta Momo" food cart just 25 days prior. She was living in Jaipur with her mother and sisters, earning a livelihood.

• Reshu was setting up her cart as usual when a police van suddenly arrived. Without listening to or saying anything else, the police ordered her to remove the cart.

• Reshu politely said, "Sir, we are leaving. There is boiling hot water in this; please give us just two minutes." However, the police paid no heed to her plea.

• The police forcefully shoved the momo steamer (vessel). The boiling hot water spilled directly onto Reshu Gupta!

• Half of Reshu's body was severely burned—affecting her chest, shoulder, abdomen, thighs, private parts, and stomach area. She sustained serious burn injuries.

• The police personnel did not stop at the scene, offered no assistance, and fled the spot.

• Reshu's sister lodged an FIR at the Ramnagaria Police Station on June 22. The police are now investigating the matter.

• Reshu is also suffering from mental trauma. A young woman who is the sole breadwinner for a poor family should not have to endure such treatment.

Demands for Justice:

• Strict action must be taken against the guilty police personnel.
• Reshu Gupta should receive full compensation and free medical treatment. • Roadside vendors should be treated with sensitivity.

Will Reshu get justice, or will it just be a cover-up?

एक लड़के ने बताया कि वह अपने परिवार को ट्रेन में बैठाने के लिए महाराष्ट्र के कल्याण रेलवे स्टेशन गया था। ट्रेन दोपहर 12 बजे की थी लेकिन बाद में बताया गया कि वह 2 बजे आएगी।

लड़के ने प्लेटफॉर्म टिकट ले लिया था और परिवार के साथ इंतजार करता रहा। लेकिन ट्रेन लगातार लेट होती रही। शाम करीब 5 बजे वह परिवार को ट्रेन में बैठाकर वापस जाने लगा

तभी टीटी ने उसे रोक लिया और प्लेटफॉर्म टिकट दिखाने को कहा। उसने टिकट दिखाया तो टीटी ने कहा कि प्लेटफॉर्म टिकट 2 घंटे बाद एक्सपायर हो जाता है। इसके बाद उस पर 500 रुपये का जुर्माना लगा दिया!

वीडियो में लड़के ने सवाल उठाया कि जब ट्रेन रेलवे की वजह से कई घंटे लेट हुई थी तो उसके इंतजार की जिम्मेदारी कौन लेगा??

उसने कहा कि उसने परिवार को छोड़ने के लिए वैध प्लेटफॉर्म टिकट लिया था, फिर भी उसे जुर्माना भरना पड़ा!

ये भी सवाल जायज है कि जब देरी रेलवे की तरफ से हुई थी तो उसकी सजा यात्री को क्यों मिली..?
