@GMB watching your view on early release of prisoners . What about people who are in prison wrongly convicted of a crime they didn’t commit. My son has spent 13 years in prison and is innocent. There is very little coverage of these cases 😡
@FACTukorg We also saw this programme and understood only too well how badly treated you have been. Our son is serving 17years which he is totally innocent of the crime he’s been imprisoned for. Take care of yourself Andy and keep your head up high x
@theJeremyVine my son is in prison and I can assure you prisons are not soft, after 11 years of visiting him after he has been wrongfully convicted, programs like yours and many others are very one sided and seem to be given very selective information 😡😡
@Bambertweets West Mercia are high up the list of holding back evidence as we know only too well, officers lying through their teeth etc etc . The list goes on and on 😡
@Elsie2127 "They have to live with that" presumes that the people who do this have a conscience, they do not. Police spend years withholding evidence prior to an innocent person being jailed. They have no conscience in all that time, so there is no possibility one will kick in later.
@Fhamiltontimes@ccrcupdate Unfortunately Fi you and I know from our experience some Officers in our country are able to conduct cases how they wish ( or in our case do not wish to ) Their conduct needs to be scrutinised in many cases and wrongs put right !!
Powerful from judge in Sarah Everard case: The police are in a unique position which is essentially different from any other public servant. They have powers of coercion + control that are in an exceptional category. In this country it is expected they will act in public interest
@DavidRoseUK Sadly as a family we know only too well how a miscarriage of justice can ruin people’s lives. Our son is into his 8year of imprisonment . We pray someone out there will come forward to help us fight his case soon 🙏
This thread is a must-read. Amanda Knox does not deserve this. She is a victim of an egregious miscarriage of justice, and the makers of the new film Still Water should hang their heads in shame. Outrageous.
Since having our son wrongly convicted for the death of his wife nearly 9 years ago. We have found many flaws in West Mercia Police folders of evidence. Yet again another WM Officer in the papers this time in a case of man slaughter!!!
Well said Cherryl, GMB is so boring since Piers left, I used to love tuning in each morning but I very rarely turn it on anymore. The sole has been ripped out of the show !!!
@piersmorgan Piers. You are not annoying or attention seeking. You just say it as it is. Come on. We need you back on TV. It’s so dull without you, especially GMB
I totally agree with you Jenny I’ve been in the system for 8 years and I too loathe the thought of drugs getting in prison, but we were made to feel quite intimidated. followed up with our son strip searched, when we had no contact with him whatsoever
@imbackingal1 I’ve never liked the pat downs when we visit but not all people are honest and sadly the body scanners are expensive to use and not every prison has access to one.. my brothers been hooked inside I’d rather take a pat down to prevent, than see my LO addicted ..
We’ve been in the prison system for over 8 years now Ben, fighting for justice for our son. Al has never taken drugs in or out of prison, he is easy picking as he causes no trouble & I truly believe they pick on him just to put a tick in the box. No hassle!!
We totally know how you feel our son too has been caught up in the justice system where so many innocent people are living their lives behind bars for a crime they did not commit. Over 8 years we have fought this system , will continue to until he’s freed
