@My_Metro Its absolute chaos on the platforms at Haymarket. No staff on platform level to direct customers onto the correct platform/train from the 900 bus. Customers have no idea whether the train on platform 2 is going to South Hylton as all the displays say it’s Out of Service

@My_Metro The mobile signal and tunnel @EE relay hasn’t worked between Gateshead Stadium and Gateshead for months. Used to have full signal across the entire route but now I get no service from Gateshead until we get towards Central. Is there a known issue?

The cheap and nasty warehouse lighting and exposed cable ducting still looks a mess though. Some architectural wood cladding across ceiling like the Darlington CGIs would be great

Sunderland station has been brightened up, with more to come both inside & outside. Added to this is a commitment to use more of the open area as a community space including the popular Mackem Market every Friday. Lots happening here as we drive station improvements at Northern.

It’s true. Sunderland’s new station building is a classic example of building design by spreadsheet.

Cabling runs are exposed, the lighting looks temporary, there’s still construction dust visible. It looks like a retail park unit that isn’t quite finished.
