The CD8 / IL-2 / ICOS axis prolongs the lifespan of tumor Tregs and worsens the outcome of PD-1 immunotherapy. We finally show that interruption of the CD8 "help" to Tregs using anti-ICOSL antibodies ameliorates the outcome of PD-1 immunotherapy.
