Satellite imagery reportedly shows significant damage to the ATV-3, ATV-4, and AT-6 refining units at the Russian Ryazan Oil Refinery following the Ukrainian drone strike on the 15th.

The loss of three of the refinery’s four primary processing units suggests that roughly 85% of its refining capacity may have been knocked offline. Additional damage was also reported to the diesel hydrotreater, with possible impacts to the ATV-1 and ATV-2 refining units.

The most significant aspect of the damage is the projected financial loss, estimated at between $20 million and $45 million USD per day depending on the extent to which operational capabilities have been damaged.
