Last month, IMPD North District officers responded to a volatile family dispute. Officer Clyde Ashby showed calm, professionalism, and restraint—disarming a knife-wielding juvenile without deadly force. For his actions, he’s our October 2025 Officer of the Month. 👏

We are heartbroken by the loss of Delaware County Deputy Corporal Blake Reynolds, who died in the line of duty this morning. IMPD North District stands with his family, friends and the DCSO. His service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Two other individuals were also arrested on unrelated warrants.
