This joint initiative by TEXMiN (TTRP, DST, Goi), IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and the University of Cambridge, the Observatory marks a major step in strengthening India–UK cooperation in critical minerals and building resilient global supply chains.

The GSCO will provide real-time insights on critical mineral supply chains, help identify supply risks and disruptions, generate market intelligence, and support informed decision-making for policymakers, industry and researchers.
