@tyrus_ From the error message I don't think the connection is lost. The connection could be there but the database's status is "abnormal", meaning corrupted or for some reason can't return data to the client. Could be the reason why doing a system restoration took Safaricom so long...
@mougendi I also believe that by asking for your PIN the app could be running with system/root privileges on your account - it'll be able to access your balance, transaction history, linked accounts (e.g bank details) etc
@Eng_alphonce@Safaricom_Care@SafaricomPLC If I understand Safaricom Care, it's possible that the Hustler Fund by requesting your PIN is running with system/root privileges i.e. it can access all your mpesa details - balance, transaction history, linked accounts e.g. bank details etc which previously only the telco had
@mucheru As some have mentioned, there seems to be a number of problems with the site:

3) The site assumes that all innovations are at the idea level
4) No details on the partner ecosystem

If we care to look there’s beauty & history in words & names. In my community each year (known by the passing of mbura ya njahi & mbura ya mwere) boys would transition to warrior age. Each age group (Rika) would receive a unique name. In these names lies a whole history. A Thread
But however much I want to believe those songs and stories, I think the sad reality is that Americans by and large like the utterly brutal, profoundly unjust, and depressingly unequal status quo, or at least has no imagination to see it any other way.
Finland is solving homelessness not by expecting people to get a job but to give them “housingfirst”- a small apartment & counselling without any preconditions. 4 out of 5 people make their way back into a stable life & it’s cheaper for government: https://t.co/xIRH2vdh7B
Make 2020 the year you minimize or eliminate your reliance on Facebook, Google, and Amazon. We need legislative intervention as well, but to get there, we need early adopters of defiance illuminating the path. You can do your part to help protect and heal the internet.
