@DebandezScott my 74 year old dad with T2 is amazing in January he started to lower his carbs. By no means is he traditionally low carb but he is certainly lower carb. ⬇️bread ⬇️potatoes -crisps etc- very little alcohol , no pasta, ⬇️ rice. He’s lost 7 lb and feels great.
@KitemanArgues This sums up my husband when he engages with a few people. Fun fact my husband doesn’t engage with rhetoric unless he knows what he is on about. #funtimes
It was 29 years yesterday since I had the last rites and my next of Kin were called (130 mile journey) as I was at university. I’m still here thanks to @SunderlandCCG and @NHSSheffieldCCG @NHSMillion
@DionysusElegu Despite my current pro mask pro vaccine opinions , I would love to hear someone's opposing view. Talk to me, tell me who. I'll definitely keep it respectful.
@DebandezScott @lchfRD @30g He is and he does. He was hoping he'd lost more weight but he understands 1 lb per weak would be 3.5 stone per year. He started wanting to lose half a stone. He's happy that his blood sugars have stabilised and there are no real bumps
@DebandezScott @lchfRD @30g He phones me each day around 8 ish to tell me his fbg and to duscus if what he's having is ok. So simple, after 2 weeks he's lost 4 lb and his bloods are averaging 6. #gdworkdad 2 of 2
@DebandezScott @lchfRD @30g My dad, 74 years old, t2D. Has decided to follow LCHF. ( I've been telling him for years ) anyway it was finally his decision, I did all the research with him. We've set a very simple program. Above ground is good Eggs meat and fish is good. No bread crisps or potato. 1 of 2
