@Dave_Eby Amelia was a disaster, she crossed the floor, got used as a temporary number, and is now being thanked on her way out the door. Classic NDP.
Eby will take anyone who props up his government until they’re no longer useful.
@wyatt_claypool@DustinHiles You’re still bitter you got left behind.
Bruce is back with the only party that can actually form government. OneBC is a protest vehicle that will elect zero people and hand seats to the NDP.
@Bratt_world@realmaxgenest Exactly! BC has a large, hardworking, conservative Sikh community that shares the same values on family, work, and faith. Judging candidates by ethnicity instead of principles is exactly the kind of thinking that loses elections.
@realmaxgenest Calling someone a traitor for condemning actual white nationalists is pathetic.
Lorne did the right thing. Real conservatives don’t need race baiters and conspiracy theorists speaking for them.
This is downtown Kelowna on September 24. Tim Hortons, people sleeping on the ground outside.
@bcndp policies on drugs and housing delivered this. Not “poverty.” Not “complexity.” This is the result.
We need a @Conservative_BC majority to clean it up. @gavindew@LDoerkson#bcpoli
There was a time in Canadian society, where one wasn’t afraid to be friends or friendly with someone of a different political background. In fact, it was common. Not so much anymore and that’s a shame.
@SteveSaretsky This is exactly how the NDP approaches housing: punish every option, tax every decision, and never fix the actual supply problem they created.
@tdhross@KahlonRav The NDP created the conditions that put people on the street, then get offended when someone shows the results. You can’t own the policy and then demand silence about its consequences.
@Dave_Eby The cost of living crisis started long before any trade war. Years of NDP policy drove up housing, taxes, and basic costs. Blaming external factors now doesn’t erase the record.
@Dave_Eby More slogans while BC deals with the housing crisis, closed ERs, and the drug emergency your government created. “Built in B.C.” doesn’t fix what your policies broke.
@KahlonRav Gavin’s point still stands. Showing the real results of failed policies isn’t exploitation, ignoring them is. People in Kelowna are living with this every day.
