‼️ BREAKING: ShinyHunters claims it breached the FBI through an unpatched Oracle PeopleSoft zero-day and stole 2 to 3TB of data on current and former employees and job applicants.

The group says the hack is retaliation for a May FBI alert that profiled it and has given the bureau a week to correct or remove the alert.

The FBI has not confirmed the breach, though multiple news outlets have verified the evidence.

Will GOS be available on cheaper devices?

No, you cannot just run GOS on a $100 low-end phone. It is a security vulnerability.

GrapheneOS has strict hardware requirements. Just any processor won’t cut it. These chips lack critical technologies like:
>ARM Memory Tagging Extension (MTE) to physically prevent memory corruption exploits
>Isolated basebands
>StrongBox secure elements

Motorola could break the Pixel monopoly, and I'm looking forward to it.

If you want to secure your privacy, go flash a custom "privacy" ROM on a cheap phone.

If you want actual hardware-level security to back up your privacy, buy a GOS-supported device and flash GrapheneOS.

❗️ Nightmare Eclipse, the researcher feuding with Microsoft, has released another Defender zero-day that blocks antivirus updates.

BigDiskBuster waits for Defender to start an update, then fills the system drive with a hidden file so the update has no room to install. Defender stays on, stuck with whatever signatures it already has.

Nightmare Eclipse is also known as ex-Microsoft Germany security researcher Abdelhamid Naceri, and has now dropped almost a dozen Windows zero-days since April.
