@catb0mb @FPSthetics re: imsim-ish elements, even in those more open areas your choices are mostly scripted and context-dependent, definitely not as sandbox-y as hitman with actions that are repeatable across areas. still a lot of fun though, WOA is one of my all-time favs and I think 007 is a blast

@catb0mb @FPSthetics in some ways it will scratch the same itch, in other ways it won't. player freedom is very much still a focus but imo it applies more during enemy encounters than during level exploration, which often feels more on-rails than I would like despite a few incredibly fun open areas.

@DakKhuza @Cuneyt_S_Sevi imo Joseph Anderson can be a bit of a crapshoot between "actually knows how to write essays" and "just makes plot summaries." I enjoy his takes on gameplay/mechanics, but anytime he talks about story it devolves almost instantly into summary with surface-level interjections.
