@UPSC_EDU The Pentagon Pizza Index is an informal theory suggesting that sudden spikes in fast food especially pizza orders near major U.S. government buildings, such as the Pentagon, CIA headquarters, and the White House, often occur shortly before a significant international crisis.
Garikapati Garu , claiming that "freebies" like midday meals make the poor "lazy" or "dependent."
he is dead wrong
I didn’t grow up with a silver spoon. My school was miles away, and by the time I reached the gates, I was already exhausted. That "free" plate of rice and dal wasn't a handout it was fuel.
When you haven't had a proper breakfast, your brain doesn't think about math or science
it thinks about the gnawing pit in your stomach.
The midday meal silenced that noise.
Today, I sit in a climate controlled office in a glass walled tech park. I’m a Engineer. I write code that moves millions of dollars and powers global systems.
Investment isn't just about stocks or real estate. The Government’s "investment" in my childhood meal has been repaid a thousand times over through the taxes I pay today as a high earning professional
@NalinisKitchen Where are the so called feminists...? What if the gender roles are reserved and courts orders the accused women to pay the 1.5 Lakh. How would they react.

Haryana BJP Minister Anil Vij to SP : I am ordering, Fire this Cop.
SP : I can’t, I do not have the jurisdiction.
Vij : Get up and leave if you lack power to execute his order.

After reviewing 300+ UPSC aspirants, one pattern is undeniable:
The "buy every standard book" era is over.
Toppers now follow a brutal principle:
Less is more. Way more.
Here's what changed:
Earlier (2015–2020):
→ Laxmikant + M. Laxmikanth Objective + Chronicle + Vision IAS notes + Coaching material
→ Spectrum + Bipin Chandra + Old NCERTs + Nitin Singhania + Class notes
→ Result: 5,000 pages per subject, zero revisions
Now (2023–2026):
→ ONE standard book per subject
→ Self-made notes (50–70 pages max per subject)
→ Multiple revisions (5–7 times before exam)
→ Result: 500 pages total, complete retention
The shift:
From "collecting resources" to "mastering fewer resources."
Here's the math:
5,000 pages × 1 revision = 5,000 pages covered, 30% retained
500 pages × 5 revisions = 2,500 pages covered, 85% retained
Less coverage. More retention. Better results.
Most aspirants are still hoarding PDFs.
While rank holders are revising 50-page notes for the 6th time.
This is why mentorship > coaching:
A mentor helps you decide what to DROP - not what to add.
If your study material has crossed 2,000 pages and revisions feel impossible, DM me "SIMPLIFY"
Supreme Court has strongly opposed the long-standing practice of appointing temporary police chiefs, calling it "unacceptable".
The ruling comes as a major development for three senior IPS officers in Tamil Nadu, whose regular appointments as Director General of Police (DGP) and Head of Police Force (HoPF) have been delayed since September 2025, leaving the state without a permanent head of police.
With Assembly elections scheduled for March–April, maintaining political neutrality in the police force becomes very important.
The absence of a permanent DGP could raise concerns about the fairness and transparency of the elections. A prompt appointment from the UPSC-recommended panel is essential.
Big News: No More Toll Tax 🛣️
India has 550 MPs,
but only one raised the right question: Raghav Chadha.
GST and Road Tax on vehicles,
Duties and Cess on petrol and diesel,
then why charge Toll Tax again?
Good roads, education, and jobs
are a government duty, not a favor.
Broken roads and endless tolls?
This is not Toll Tax.
This is Organised Loot.

A small dose of nostalgia from the 2023 Assembly campaign, when this very number was rolled out daily as “unemployed youth.”
Then, it was a political narrative.
