Got lucky here with my team shooting above .500 until the last day. Then was able to catchup on assists. A feel good win with Kawhi Out and Steph playing I think just one game.

Only move I made was picking up Cam Thomas for $39.

A good tip when analyzing your first week, check the standings (specifically each category), not just the matchup result, as well as games played. This weeks schedule was a bit funky.

A great example was in @industrypickup this week. I lost rebounds, causing me to lose 4-5. However, my rebound count would have beaten every other team in the league, while I also played six fewer games than my opponent. I don't see any reason to make any changes yet.

Roto 8cat @industrypickup (10 active, 4 bench). Reached for Embiid maybe 15 picks early, but in roto you shoot for upside. With Zion later, needed the FT% buffer. Liked the value on Ingram, MPJ/CJ (even with shutdown risk), and WCJ. Caruso/Hunter stream spots. #FantasyBasketball

I didn't plan on getting Edey but sort of accidentally ended up with him. Landed a bunch of my center targets, including Lively who I don't usually target. Steals late meant I had to slightly overpay for a couple of guys but I had factored that into my build. Ausar will go straight into my IR spot, making way for a waiver pickup.

Around this time last year I worked on better settings for fantasy basketball. I implemented them in LOFB Bowl and @industrypickup and I think it’s been a success. I’m working on something else now. I don’t think it’s going to be as well received because it’s a bit of a radical departure. But I’m confident it can be a positive.
