Many an idiotic hot take has been had on this godforsaken site about the Lindsay Clancy case. So here’s my take: post-partum depression is quite real. Post-partum psychosis is real but also distinct. People who conflate the two are being foolish. People who dismiss either are being ridiculous.

Aside from the obvious tragedy of the triple murder, the only real takeaway for the American people ought to be this: evil is real, but dismissing mental illness as causative of human behavior is doltish. Get the care you need…and at the same time, psychiatric care is not nearly as well-developed as other fields of medicine. Not every tragedy has easy or comforting answers.

They’re running a story about 2 teenagers having their illegal parents deported by ICE and forced to “live on their own”

Except they were immediately taken in by their aunt… Ohh and her illegal parents were arrested for shoplifting. ICE also gave the illegal mother the option of taking her children with her back to Honduras, which she wants. But she choose no to because it meant she would have to stay in detention for a couple months while that process was worked out

So here we have the mainstream media stirring up outrage over illegals who broke into our county, had anchor babies, got deported and then didn’t want to wait a couple months to be with their kids
